Vancouver 2010 Olympic Bid - Technical Evaluation Visit
In 2003 Vancouver 's Olympic dreams were tested when the IOC visited to evaluate the city's bid for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Nearly all the success of Vancouver's chances rode on this one visit. Years of hard work boiled down to five days in March. BLD was called upon to design the main presentation space, an outer reception / meeting area, a presentation space in Whistler, and the designs for the gala party function for this seminal event in the city's history.
